The Manager of Biometrics is responsible for assigned direct reports, ensuring all time frames and targets are met. Direct report oversight may include any of the following roles: Clinical Data Associates, Lead Data Managers, Clinical Database Programmers, Technical Programmers, and/or Statistical Programmers. This position provides functional expertise, leadership and direction while ensuring adequate staffing, training, and delivery.Responsibilities:Onboarding of new employees, including training on procedures and systemsMentor, monitor, and supervise direct reports (including monitoring time reporting and training requirements)Responsible for the hiring, promotion, transfer, and release of staff; participate in candidate interviewsConduct performance reviews and assist with goal setting of direct reportsProvide input on resource planning and assignmentsReview metrics for department performance; identify and address risks or areas of concernImplement and maintain performance metricsIdentify and drive process improvementsProvide leadership, strategic management and ensure overall quality of biometrics activitiesStrong understanding of departmental and company procedures; ability to guide otherson proceduresParticipate in the development and revision of department SOPsPerform other duties as requested by managementQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorking knowledge of clinical research best practices preferredGood knowledge of medical terminologyExcellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are requiredMinimum of 6 years direct experience in Biometrics within a CRO/ Pharma environment, working on global trialsThe ideal candidate will have 2 years of management/leadership experience, leading teams’ representative of diversity in India.At Advanced Clinical, our commitment to diversity and inclusion in every part of our organization is crucial to fulfilling our mission and demonstrating our REAL values.
