Position: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra


About the Role:

Lead process design, simulation, optimization, and technology integration for hydrogen/ammonia plants.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process calculations.
  • Techno commercial evaluation of projects and licensors, technology providers and EPC Companies.
  • Plant and process equipment design, including applicable international standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, HAZOPs, and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Instrumentation, Environmental, EPC) for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master’s in chemical engineering or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in hydrogen, ammonia, or related process industries.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of process simulation tools.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
