Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Steel Product Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the steel industry, market trends, and customer needs. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making to develop and execute marketing strategies for steel products, ensuring they align with the company's business goals and drive growth in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends in the steel sector.
  • Analyze market data and customer insights to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements in existing products.

2) Strategic Marketing Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for the promotion of steel products across various industries (construction, automotive, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Define target markets and customer segments, and create tailored marketing campaigns to reach these audiences.

3) Product Positioning & Messaging:

  • Work with product development teams to understand the unique selling points (USPs) of each steel product and translate these into effective marketing messages.
  • Create clear and compelling messaging that highlights the benefits and competitive advantages of the steel products.

4) Brand Development:

  • Develop and maintain the brand image for steel products, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Create promotional materials such as brochures, website content, case studies, and presentations that reflect the brands value proposition.

5) Digital Marketing & Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across platforms (social media, Google Ads, email marketing, etc.).
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and ROI to improve engagement and conversion rates.

6) Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide the necessary marketing materials and training to effectively sell steel products.
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies and promotional offers to drive sales.

7) Customer Relationships & Networking:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to stay informed about market developments and establish networking opportunities.

8) Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports to management with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, brand awareness, and sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.

1) Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing within the manufacturing, industrial, or steel sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.

2) Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the steel industry, including its trends, challenges, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media, email marketing).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and customer service teams.
