Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team at Shiv Offset (I) Pvt. Ltd. as a Junior-level professional in Indore. This full-time position calls for 1 to 3 years of experience in security roles. The successful candidate will exhibit vigilance, physical endurance, and strong communication skills to ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience of 1 to 3 years in a similar security role in a controlled environment offering physical protection and deterrence against unlawful activities.
  • Proficient in surveillance techniques and operating security equipment, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and risk management.
  • Exemplary physical fitness and stamina, essential for patrolling and handling potential physical confrontations as needed.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for effectively liaising with staff and visitors, and issuing clear instructions in security contexts.
  • Proficient emergency response skills to manage various crises with efficiency and calmness, minimizing organizational disruptions.
  • Exceptional observation skills for identifying suspicious activities and reporting incidents accurately to aid in investigative processes.
  • Adept at patrolling techniques with a focus on minimizing risks and maintaining a secure environment through regular checks.
  • Strong report writing skills for documenting incidents, interventions, and updates that support security protocols and procedures.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills to address and de-escalate potentially volatile situations professionally and tactfully.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Patrol the premises systematically to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors, maintaining security at the facility site.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and report suspicious activities or security violations.
  • Write detailed daily reports outlining patrol activities and any anomalies encountered during shifts.
  • Provide a visible deterrent against crime and assist in minimizing risks by being present and observant at the facility.
  • Respond immediately to security incidents and alarms, proactively implementing measures to mitigate threats.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency service providers when necessary, ensuring swift and coordinated action.
  • Maintain a secure environment by enforcing rules and regulations, preventing unauthorized access, theft, or damage.
