Role OverviewThe Customer Data Platform (CDP) Specialist plays a critical role in executing and managing audiences and customer journeys within the CDP ecosystem. This position directly supports Digital Marketing initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.The ideal candidate has a strong ability to translate marketing requirements into data-driven audience strategies, analyze large customer datasets, and operationalize insights into scalable, compliant, and impactful marketing experiences. We are seeking a professional who can join promptly or is currently serving a notice period.CDP work requires strong SQL expertise to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable, data-driven outputs. Therefore, Data Analysis remains a core skillset for this role.You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with analytical rigor, while ensuring data quality, governance, and business objectives are consistently met.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness PartnershipPartner with marketing stakeholders to support requirement-gathering workshops for omni-channel customer engagement strategiesAct as a bridge between business, marketing, and technology teams to translate campaign objectives into actionable data requirementsGuide them through different Data arrangements and finalise a list of customers contributing a behavior.Audience Management & ActivationDesign, build, and manage campaign audiences within the CDPConfigure and execute audience journeys aligned with marketing goalsReview audience logic and journeys with stakeholders and activate them across relevant marketing channelsData Analysis, Governance & HygieneAnalyze customer data using SQL and Excel to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insightsSupport data quality and governance initiatives, ensuring data completeness, consistency, and compliancePerform data validation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new audience builds and integrationsBuild to Scale & InnovationCollaborate with IT and Operations teams to define integration requirements using clear user stories, roadmaps, and implementation plansSupport the development of scalable data pipelines and integration endpointsBuild proofs of concept (POCs) for new tools, platforms, and technologies in partnership with technology teamsRequired Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in SQL / query languages (mandatory) for data analysis, segmentation, and validationStrong working knowledge of Excel, including data manipulation and analysisBasic to intermediate understanding of marketing data, customer data models, and marketing technologiesStrong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sourcesExcellent verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with marketing, analytics, and technology teamsHigh attention to detail, with a strong focus on compliance, standards, and data accuracyQualifications2+ years of experience in B2B marketing campaigns, marketing analytics, or data strategyHands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform (e.g., ActionIQ, Salesforce CDP, Adobe CDP, or similar) is a strong plusTechnical understanding of Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, SFMC, etc.), Salesforce CRM, and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook) is desirableStrong organizational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelinesA passion for metrics and performance measurement — you are driven by data and insightsMore About the TeamCollaboration is central to success in this role.
