Data Annotation Intern

Quidich Innovation Labs is a global company headquartered in Mumbai, India that pioneers in customized technology solutions for Sports Broadcast. Role

As a Data Annotator Intern at Quidich, you will embark on an exciting journey in the world of sports technology and play a vital role in assisting the technology team to work on global projects. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous individual to join the Research & Development team. You will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of machine learning models by accurately labeling and annotating data. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Annotating and labeling various types of data, including text, images, and audio, according to predefined guidelines and standards.
• Ensuring high-quality and accurate annotations to contribute to the training and evaluation of machine learning algorithms.
• Collaborating with team members to understand project requirements and provide feedback on annotation guidelines.
• Maintaining consistency and accuracy in labeling data across different projects and datasets.
• Meeting project deadlines and production targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Identifying and reporting any issues or challenges related to data quality and annotation guidelines.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is critical for ensuring accurate and precise data annotations.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on annotation guidelines.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members to understand project requirements and provide feedback on annotation guidelines.
• Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines and production targets.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in data annotation, labeling, or a related field is preferred.
• A basic understanding of machine learning concepts and applications is a plus.
• Working Conditions: This position may require sitting for extended periods, working on a computer, and attention to detail for extended periods.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and be able to adapt to evolving project requirements.
