The Sitecore Tech Lead will be instrumental in ensuring the effective implementation and continuous support of Sitecore solutions XM Cloud, Content Hub and Search within the organization. This position demands an in-depth knowledge of Sitecore technology, robust technical acumen, and a commitment to delivering superior quality solutions.


Responsibilities:


Technical Leadership and Solution Architecture:

  • Technical Vision: Define and communicate the technical vision for the Sitecore solutions and Experience Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Solution Architecture: Partnered with TDD architecture teams to design and implement robust technical solutions aligned with architectural choices defined by the TDD architecture teams.
  • Technology Stack: Stay up to date with the latest Sitecore technologies and industry trends to ensure optimal solutions.


Team Leadership and Collaboration :

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of developers, testers, and other technical resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively.


Development and Delivery :

  • Agile Development: Drive agile development practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Technical Implementation: Drive the full lifecycle of Sitecore projects, from design to deployment. This involves managing external integrators, ensuring the quality and compliance of custom developments, and actively mitigating technical debt. Key responsibilities include:

i. Overseeing development activities

ii. Conducting code reviews and quality assurance

iii. Enforcing adherence to Sodexo's coding standards

iv. Ensuring timely delivery of projects

  • Data Migration and Integration: Manage data migration and integration with other systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of Sitecore solutions.


Support and Maintenance :

  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve technical issues.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to the Sitecore environment, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements.


Communication and stakeholders engagement:

  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders (global and local), including the Product Owner, business analysts, technical teams, architecture teams, Digital Marketing Staekholders, Head of Brand and content and Brand and Commerce director.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision, priorities, and timelines.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share technical knowledge and best practices with the team and broader organization.
  • Change Management: Communicate effectively about changes to the Sitecore platform and its impact on users.
  • Advocacy for Standard Features: Promote the use of Sitecores standard features to reduce customization costs and improve maintainability.
  • Regular Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders.


To summarize, the Sitecore Tech Lead for Brand & Content Product Lines will be responsible for translating the product vision into technical reality, ensuring the successful delivery of Sitecore solutions that meet business needs and drive value. He will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Hard skills:


  • Education: Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Sitecore Tech Lead or Senior Sitecore Fullstack Developer.
  • Sitecore Platform: Deep understanding of Sitecore core concepts, including XM Cloud, Content Hub, Personnalize, Forms and Search.
  • Vercel and Next JS knowledge and experienced in deploying web applications on Vercel.
  • HTML, CSS, GraphQL and JavaScript : mastering standard front-end technologies
  • Mastering backend technologies such as asp.net and C# and understanding database design, SQL queries, and performance optimization is essential.
  • Knowledge in AngularJS is a plus
  • Integration: Expertise in integrating Sitecore with other systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Sensistivity to UX/UI design : able to understand Figma and challenge designers then implementing the Design properly to streamline user experience and provide modern UI.
  • Sitecore certifications: Developer, Administrator in XM Cloud and Content Hub is required
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps is a plus).
  • Testing: Experience in writing unit, integration, and system tests, knowledge of Browser Stack or similar tools is appreciated.
  • Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Product Development: Strong understanding of traditional product development lifecycles.
