Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer who combines the power of low-code development with a solid foundation in Java and deployment expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-level applications using the Joget platform, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver and a hands-on technologist who can translate complex business needs into efficient, scalable, and user-friendly workflow solutions and ensure their successful implementation in a production environment.Key Responsibilities:Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust business applications and workflows on the Joget platform, including creating forms, data lists, and user-centric interfaces (Userviews).Business Process Translation: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze requirements and model business processes into efficient and automated workflows.Customization and Extension: Extend the core functionality of the Joget platform by developing custom Java plugins, scripts, and API integrations to meet specific business requirements.Systems Integration: Integrate Joget applications with a variety of internal and external systems, including databases, RESTful web services, and other enterprise applications. Your understanding of the underlying systems will be key to creating seamless and efficient data flows.Deployment and Operations: Take full ownership of the solution deployment process, including setting up necessary infrastructure, performing installations, and managing the deployment pipeline to ensure smooth delivery into production environments.Code Quality and Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for both Joget configurations and custom Java components.Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Joget applications, providing ongoing support and performance optimization.Technical Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure solutions are well-designed and align with the overall technical strategy.Skills and Qualifications:Required:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development.Joget Capability: Hands-on experience building applications on a low-code/BPM platform, with a strong preference for Joget.Java Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Java and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Deployment & Infrastructure: Proven experience with solution deployment, including infrastructure setup for both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), software installation, and configuration.
