Job Opening: Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE) – Bio-Analytical tools like DLS, UV-VIS, Fluorescence, MALS & Microfluidics Instruments (Sales Support)Location: Ahmedabad Job Type: Full-time Experience: Mid/SeniorAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for analytical and bio-analytical instruments while actively supporting the sales team. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and pre-sales/application support for advanced laboratory instruments, including Bio-Analytical tools like DLS, UV-VIS, Fluorescence, MALS, and Microfluidic systems.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and maintain:Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) systemsUV-VIS spectrophotometersFluorescence spectrometersMulti-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) instrumentsMicrofluidic analysis systemsConduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine service visits.Troubleshoot hardware, optics, electronics, and software issues.Provide pre-sales and application support:Conduct demos for potential customersAssist in product selection and technical presentationsPrepare application notes, feasibility studies, and quotationsCollaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and provide technical input.Maintain detailed service reports, compliance documentation, and customer records.Stay updated on new technologies, software, and best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Instrumentation, Electronics, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.3–10+ years of hands-on experience with lab instruments, preferably in:Bio-Analytical tools like DLS, MALS, UV-VIS, FluorescenceMicrofluidics or particle/molecular characterization systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.Preferred SkillsExperience with instruments from Malvern Panalytical, Wyatt Technology, Agilent, Horiba, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu, etc.Knowledge of GMP/GLP, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and service documentation.Familiarity with software tools: Zetasizer, Astra, UV-Vis analytical suites, etc.Ability to support sales initiatives, demos, and technical discussions with clients.How to ApplySend your CV to shahane.ajinkya@acutebioscience.com with the subject line: “Application – FSE (DLS/UV-VIS/Fluorescence/MALS/Microfluidics) with Sales Support” For inquiries, contact 7204613647.
