Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at KnowVisory Global. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and handle accounting responsibilities for our US-based clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively. The senior accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial analysis, preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, making sure that the discrepancies are resolved quickly.
Execute monthly close including preparation of financial accounts roll forward schedules and consolidated financial statements.
Manage other ad hoc administrative duties as assigned (e.g., chart of accounts and customer/vendor set-ups, accounting data cleanups, etc.)
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
Creating and verifying Invoices.
Posting payments on open invoices.
Support senior accountants and finance teams with various tasks as needed.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Experience working with multiple clients and managing simultaneous projects.
Experience in working under strict timelines.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting (GAAP), minimal accounting training needed
Advanced Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, conditional formatting, etc.)
Strong problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data or issues clearly.
Must have experience with Quickbooks.
Hands-on experience in Bill.com is preferable.
Must have 3+ years of accounting experience, focusing on US GAAP.
Should be an Immediate Joiner.
