Role Description:

The candidate will be responsible for Leading System Engineering Product vertical at Sun Mobility. This position will lead the System Engineering domain within the Engineering organization to maintain highly reliable and compliant process for system requirements, architecture, design & cross domain technical coordination for products, subsystems like Battery packs (cells, Battery Management, Controls, Telematics ECUs), Charging and Swap Stations (all sub systems), Docks (Including Vehicle interface ECU), etc from concept to post production.

Ideal Experience: Minimum 10-15 years working, leadership experience on System Engineering in a product development & manufacturing organization with BE / ME / Masters in Automobile, E&C, E&E engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Accountable, responsible for the following across all the Products/projects/enhancements/bug fixes,- Requirements & architecture effectiveness, efficiency & timeline- Technology scouting, Strategy, Innovation, Architecture, Design,- Be a systemic reference across the entire development chain- Develop cross product technical proposals to market & customer requirements/acquisitions- Review & approval all cross functional & cross domain technical deliverables- Define & Deploy development tools across functions/domains for bidirectional traceability- Define & deploy Gen AI, AI/ML initiatives to derive tangible outcomes for automation, productivity- Release approval signatory- Product certification & regulation- Functional Safety requirements, design, certifications- Security requirements, design & certifications- System engineering program management- System engineering team development, management- Primary interface to all internal & external stakeholders for System engineering
