One of our clients is looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join their team.Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in end-to-end data engineering and Snowflake development.Expert in Snowflake native features: Snow pipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Secure Data Sharing.Skilled in designing scalable ELT pipelines, advanced SQL/Python development, and dimensional data modeling (star/snowflake).Experienced in analyzing file formats (Parquet, ORC, Avro, JSON, CSV) and recommending performance/storage best practices.Strong in cost/performance optimization, handling semi-structured data, and compute/storage tuning in Snowflake.Azure cloud experience is preferred, along with integration using DBT, Airflow, and other modern data tools.Hands-on experience with Streamlit, familiarity with Snowflake Container Services is a strong plus.Knowledge of Snowflake security best practices including RBAC, data masking, access control, and data encryption.Experience with monitoring Snowflake performance using Resource Monitors, Query Profiling, and usage analytics.Snowflake and Azure certifications are preferred (not mandatory); must excel in architecture, debugging, and data strategy
