The ideal candidate will lead the development of scalable and secure IoT solutions and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IoT Solution Development : Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end IoT solutions, from device connectivity to cloud integration, ensuring robust and scalable architectures.
  • Cloud Integration : Develop and deploy IoT systems on AWS, utilizing services like IoT Core, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and AWS Green Grass to ensure high scalability and security.
  • Security and Compliance : Implement and maintain security measures for IoT devices and cloud services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for data privacy, encryption, and authentication.
  • IoT Protocols : Work with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS, and Matter for device-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud integration.
  • Collaborative Leadership : Lead a team of developers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and other stakeholders to build high-performance IoT systems.
  • Edge and Cloud Computing : Optimize IoT systems for edge computing, real-time data processing, and efficient cloud integration, focusing on cost-effectiveness and scalability.
  • Innovation : Stay updated on emerging IoT and cloud technologies, continuously improving IoT solutions by integrating new tools and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Troubleshooting & Support : Resolve complex technical issues related to IoT solutions and AWS cloud integration to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Proof-of-Concept (PoC) : Lead PoC initiatives to test and validate new IoT technologies, frameworks, and integration approaches.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills :
  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying large-scale IoT solutions using AWS cloud, including AWS IoT Core, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and AWS Green Grass.
  • Strong knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS, and Matter.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
  • Solid understanding of IoT security practices, including device authentication, data encryption, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with edge computing, real-time analytics, and AI/ML integrations in IoT solutions.
  • Familiarity with networking technologies such as IPv6, LPWAN, and 5G.
  • Problem Solving : Strong analytical skills, with a focus on solving complex technical challenges in the IoT and cloud domains.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership : Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing technical guidance.
  • Troubleshooting : Experience in identifying and resolving issues related to IoT systems and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Cloud Integration : Expertise in integrating IoT solutions with AWS cloud platforms for scalability, security, and performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications : AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or IoT Specialty are a plus.
  • Experience with Containerization : Familiarity with AWS serverless, & microservices architecture is beneficial with AW CDK as IaaC.
  • Additional Experience : Experience in serverless architecture, system design, and working with large-scale OTA deployments.
