POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an empathetic and detail-oriented “Admin Manager” to oversee and manage day-to-day plant administration and human resource operations. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in plant administration, Transport management, canteen vendor management and liaisoning with internal and external stakeholders. This role also requires expertise in vendor management and negotiation. Candidates who bring unique perspectives and a collaborative approach will thrive in this role, contributing to a nurturing and inclusive workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plant Administration:
- Manage daily administrative activities to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Coordinate facility maintenance, security, and workplace enhancement projects.
HR Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Lead and oversee internal and external HR audits, maintaining robust records and documentation.
- Implement proactive measures to ensure regulatory readiness at all times.
Liaisoning:
- Build and sustain positive relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in discussions and negotiations with external agencies.
- Collaborate across departments to align HR objectives with broader business goals.
Vendor Management:
- Oversee vendor selection processes, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
- Negotiate contracts effectively to achieve optimal service delivery and cost efficiency.
- Foster strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent and reliable support.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Act as a trusted resource for resolving employee concerns and fostering workplace harmony.
- Design and implement initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
- Provide support to supervisors and managers on HR matters.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Education:
- M.Com/MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in plant administration, Transport management, canteen vendor management.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR audit requirements.
- Exceptional liaisoning skills with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in vendor management and adeptness at contract negotiation.
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under dynamic conditions.
