SOC Design ArchitectExperience Level: 10+ yearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced SOC Design Architect to lead the architecture, design, and integration of complex SoCs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in RTL design, microarchitecture, linting, CDC analysis, RTL integration, and SoC design. This role requires a strategic thinker who can define the design architecture, ensure quality through methodology enforcement, and drive the complete design cycle from concept to tape-out.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the microarchitecture and RTL design for key IP blocks or SoC-level components.Architect and implement high-performance, power-efficient digital designs while balancing timing, area, and power constraints.Drive RTL integration and SoC-level assembly, ensuring seamless connectivity and interface validation.Perform lint, CDC, and synthesis checks using tools such as SpyGlass, ensuring design quality and compliance with project standards.Collaborate with verification, physical design, and firmware teams to validate design functionality and performance.Lead design reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior RTL designers across the team.Drive methodology improvements across RTL design and integration flows for scalability and efficiency.Work closely with system architects to translate system-level requirements into optimal design implementations.Required Skills and Experience10+ years of hands-on experience in ASIC/SoC design and RTL development.Strong background in microarchitecture definition and RTL coding in Verilog/SystemVerilog.Proven expertise in linting, CDC analysis, and RTL quality closure using tools such as SpyGlass.Experience with SoC integration, bus protocols (AXI/AHB/APB), and interface design.Solid understanding of timing closure, power-performance trade-offs, and low-power design techniques.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across simulation and synthesis flows.Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience collaborating with physical design, DFT, and verification teams for cross-functional integration.Exposure to high-speed interfaces or complex multi-core SoCs.Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.Why Join UsWork on cutting-edge SoC and ASIC architectures driving next-generation semiconductor innovation.Collaborative environment with opportunities for technical leadership and ownership.Competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and exposure to global design programs.About Us:Silicon Patterns is a specialized engineering services company with deep expertise in pre-silicon and post-silicon design and verification.
