Roto Artist

Magnon Group has an exciting opportunity for a Rotoscopy artist to support the clients' digital experience business worldwide. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Roto Artist to join our dynamic post-production team. As a key member, your primary responsibility will be creating clean and precise edges through roto and element extraction from live-action or animated sequences.Additionally, candidates should be capable of handling medium-complexity prep shots. You will collaborate closely with the VFX Supervisor and internal compositing team to deliver high-quality work within project deadlines.Location: NoidaResponsibilities:Create detailed and accurate mattes by tracing around foreground objects, characters, or elements in live-action or animated footageSolid understanding of rotoscoping techniques, including motion tracking, keying, and matte painting.Composite visual effects elements to create high-quality shots that meet the creative and technical requirements of each project.Match color, lighting, and camera movements to achieve realistic and cohesive visual effects.Collaborate with VFX Supervisors, Directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and artistic vision. Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to compositing, such as tracking errors, matte edges, and color mismatches. Work closely with editors, colorists, and VFX supervisors to ensure a smooth post-production workflow.Requirements:4 to 6 years of professional experience as a Roto Artist in the visual effects industry or a related field.Proficiency in industry-standard rotoscoping software such as, Mandatory: SilhouetteFX, and Nuke (To handle moderate complexity shots), Photoshop (clean plate) and Good to know: Adobe After Effects, Mocha Pro.Experience with keying, rotoscoping, tracking, and other compositing techniques.Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency and quality in Roto and compositing work.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in a high-end post-production or VFX studio environment.Moderate experience as a VFX Compositor in the entertainment industry or related field.Good understanding of color theory, lighting, and composition.Please share your updated resume and work samples at aanchal.mittal@omc.comThe brief above is for reference purposes and to give a basic understanding of the role.Note: This is a 'Full-Time Consultant' role.Magnon is among the largest advertising, digital, and marketing-performance agency-groups in India.
