As part of the Global Payroll Center of Excellence, the Senior Payroll Analyst will play a critical role in delivering Payroll Services across our Europe Region. This incumbent will work cross-functionally with HR and other internal and external Stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely salaries of associates, whilst also identifying and executing continuous improvements to processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monthly Payroll processing activities, ensure pay is processed on time, accurately, completely and in compliance with all regulations.
- Deliver all year end payroll processes.
- Ensure all SOX compliant controls relevant to the payroll process are executed
- Support with internal and external audit and tax-related activities, including preparation of data and evidence as required
- Support with Finance and HR queries
- Build positive relationships to ensure successful collaborations to be able to respond to internal payroll questions, and handle ad-hoc payroll requests.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to resolve any payroll-related issues and ensure consistent communication.
- Support with payroll and ad hoc reports as required
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll operational experience in UK and Ireland is mandatory.
- Experience across other Western European countries will be an added advantage
- Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency for employee questions; be able to spot errors or exceptions quickly.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator.
- SAP / Workday / Alight/Strada vendor experience a plus.
