We are seeking a highly skilled Palo Alto Networks Firewall Expert with strong hands-on expertise in traditional PANW Firewalls (hardware and virtual appliances). The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of deployment, configuration, migration, troubleshooting, and optimization of PANW firewall technologies in enterprise environments.

This is a client-facing consulting role, requiring both technical depth and strong communication skills to engage with enterprise customers, solve complex challenges, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Design, Deploy & Configure Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls (physical & virtual appliances) in enterprise and data center environments.
• Migrations: Lead firewall migration projects, including rulebase optimization, policy cleanup, and seamless cutovers from legacy devices to PANW firewalls.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting of network security incidents, connectivity issues, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and high availability setups.
• Optimization: Conduct health checks, fine-tune firewall policies, security profiles, App-ID, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, and WildFire configurations.
• Integration: Work with SIEM, IAM, and other security tools to integrate PANW firewalls into the broader security ecosystem.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and best practices playbooks.
• Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on best practices, roadmap planning, and PANW firewall adoption strategies.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide internal enablement sessions and client workshops on PANW firewall operations and security posture improvement.

• Experience: 6–12 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls (traditional hardware/VM series) in enterprise or consulting environments.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong skills in firewall rulebase management, security policy design, and traffic segmentation.
• Expertise in VPN technologies (GlobalProtect, site-to-site IPSec, SSL VPN).
• Experience with HA (High Availability) configurations and troubleshooting failover scenarios.
• Proficiency with CLI and GUI for advanced troubleshooting.
• Understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, static routing) as implemented on PANW firewalls.
• Exposure to Panorama (preferred) for centralized management.

Certifications (Preferred): PCNSA, PCNSE (mandatory for senior-level experts).
