Role Description

This is a full-time/part-time, remote role for an IB DP AA/AI | CIE Math Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for preparing and delivering lessons adhering to IB and CIE standards, developing comprehensive study materials, assessing student progress, providing individual support, and undertaking regular testing and feedback sessions. The tutor will also be expected to maintain updated knowledge of curriculum developments and work closely with other faculty members.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Mathematics, particularly IB DP AA/AI and CIE Math courses
  • Experience in curriculum and lesson planning, test preparations, and student assessments
  • Strong ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Skills in providing individualized support and feedback to students
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
  • Experience teaching at the international school level is a plus
