Our clients include Zomato, Lenskart, Ferns N Petals, P&G, Times of India, Hyatt hotels and India's hottest D2C brands - Anaar luxury shoes, Lino Luxury linens, Asaya Skincare, Aroma Magic by Blossom Kocchhar, Gush Beauty, Isak Fragrances and many more.


Role Description

This is a hybrid modern-day role that synthesises the strengths of brand management + content management + client management. You will learn to drive brand metrics across always-on media. This role is for all of you with 2-4 yrs work ex (excluding internships). This is a client facing role and requires excellent interpersonal skills.

You are obsessively passionate about how brands are built. You will need to be absolutely comfortable with the hectic pace of the always-on world of social media since all your strategy and comms will be rolled out on social media. NOTE: This is not a creative role. Also this is a client facing role that involves client management - so be prepared for everything from great presentations to stress and escalations


You will need to have a strong take on:

  1. Consumer & brand strategy - Research, competitive analysis, insight development and brand planning
  2. Media mix - which channel of social to employ, what content mix across reels, CTAs works best to drive conversion, visibility, CTR and other KPIs.



KRAs Overview

  • Communication planning - Translate strategy into brand planning, GTM strategy and activating channel-wise strategy aligned with deliverables & KPIs
  • Strategy - Research, consumer insights development, competition and category mapping, developing strategic brief, managing creative team deliverables
  • Client management - briefing, timely delivery, drafting strategic briefs for communication requirements, set up process for recurring requirements, meetings
  • Drive key brand metrics - Build high-impact marketing stack for multi-channel communication effectiveness - social media plan + social campaigns - paid social content promotion, influencer top-up, seeding virality, collabs
  • Intel development - Collect insights and spearhead strategies for clients by staying on top of new trends, industry & competition news.
  • Develop SOPS - Planning & implementing project checklist per client - to ensure error-free, timely deliveries - timelines, interdependencies between teams & client


Team management:

You will lead a team of 3-4 social media account managers who handle day-to-day client interaction, analytics, calendar planning. Your role will be to proactively drive this team to deliver on your KRAs and client + brand KPIs



Functional KRAs:

  • Create and manage content calendars for the brand's social media platforms through the junior account managers
  • Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Analyze metrics and performance reports
  • Collaborate with client marketing, and internal creative teams
  • Maintain brand voice and guidelines across platforms
  • Your role will span across Instagram, , YT, Twitter, Pinterest
  • Conduct market research, surveys, consumer interviews



Social Strategy KRAs

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct audience research to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and user personas.
  • Identify strategic content pillars to grow the brand recall, and brand love
  • Study the competition brands and develop differentiated strategy that resonates with the consumer



Client management

  • Speaking with the client frequently to get new business updates, requirements and communication timelines and calendar
  • Presenting the monthly calendar and research
  • Handling the client in times of stress and escalations



Eligibility

  • Prior experience of atleast 1 year working with an D2C brand and having a strong social media component to have an understanding on performance metrics & analytics.
  • Should have excellent knowledge of excel, should be good with data reporting, be an on-trend reader of prominent marketing & brand publications
  • Be great at managing client relationships, interaction and meetings
  • Strong planning and daily work management skills - be thoroughly organised.


Success evaluation

  • Successful implementation of strategic plans into content and brand marketing initiatives - to lead to high score brand tracks.
  • Build L&H folio of high-visibility brand activation, communication and enviable content marketing playbook.
