Job Summary


The AM- Sustainability will play a key role in supporting the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of Padmini VNA’s sustainability strategy and carbon neutrality objectives. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability needs. The personal will assist in setting up processes, ensuring compliance, and monitoring and reporting on sustainability initiatives across environmental, social, economic, and cultural domains.


Role & responsibility-


  • Assist in the development and execution of the company’s carbon neutrality strategy.
  • Lead the quantification of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and contribute to carbon emission scenario building based on business plans.
  • Conduct research and provide inputs on emerging low-carbon technologies and projects.
  • Establish processes and systems for sustainability compliance, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Assist in the identification and evaluation of carbon reduction projects for feasibility and impact.
  • Work closely with internal departments to support sustainability projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, service providers, and vendors to execute sustainability projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection for GHG emissions and sustainability reporting.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and analysis on sustainability topics for senior management.
  • Support the development of the company’s Sustainability Report and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting.
  • Support the review and improvement of existing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.
  • Support the team to conduct supply chain sustainability audits and assessments.
  • Assist in identifying training and development interventions to embed sustainability into the organizational culture.
  • Promote employee engagement and volunteering initiatives related to sustainability and CSR.
  • Stay updated on the latest sustainability trends, research, and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
  • Benchmark and recommend improvements to existing sustainability practices.
  • Work with the corporate communications team to drive internal engagement and promote sustainability storytelling.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability OR equivalent.
  • Master’s degree or certification in Sustainability, ESG, or Environmental Management is a plus.


Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • 4-6 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with carbon accounting, GHG emissions quantification, and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Basic understanding of EHS practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Awareness of global and local sustainability regulations and standards.
