Your Impact As an Azure Cloud & DevOps Lead/Architect, you will drive the design, implementation, and governance of large-scale, high-performance eCommerce platforms on Azure. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, oversee mission-critical infrastructure, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-native solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to shape the organization’s cloud and DevOps strategy.Your Role Will Include:Leading the implementation, optimization, and governance of Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.Designing scalable, reliable, and high-performing eCommerce solutions.Providing hands-on expertise with Kafka, in-memory databases, Aerospike, MongoDB Atlas, Kubernetes (K8s), and Akamai.Ensuring compliance with security standards and industry best practices.Managing and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.Driving governance initiatives, including policy development, enforcement, and compliance monitoring.Overseeing release management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.Leading agile/scrum ceremonies and ensuring effective adoption of agile practices.Building/adapting tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to manage infrastructure autonomously.Defining and executing the long-term cloud & DevOps strategy for the organization.Handling critical incidents (P0 issues) with a strong ownership mindset, including night/weekend support. Documenting solutions, presenting strategies, and leading discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Acting as a hands-on engineer when required, ensuring frameworks and infrastructure are scalable and robust.Implementing DR strategies and ensuring high availability, elasticity, and observability of platforms.What You Bring:Azure Certified Solutions Architect (mandatory).10+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and software development, with leading teams.Proven experience on large-scale eCommerce projects.Hands-on expertise with Kafka, Aerospike, MongoDB Atlas, Kubernetes (K8s), Akamai, and in-memory databases.Strong proficiency in Linux and Python scripting.Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation.Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM templates).Experience implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) and monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills to manage large teams and cross-functional collaboration.Bachelor’s and master's degree in engineering or related field.
