Oracle Groovy Scripting Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Groovy Scripting Consultant with 5-10 years of expertise in writing and optimizing Groovy scripts within Oracle Cloud Applications (Fusion HCM, ERP, or CX). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and troubleshooting Groovy scripts to customize and automate business processes within Oracle Cloud.

Key Responsibilities :

Groovy Scripting & Customization :

- Develop and enhance Groovy scripts for Oracle Cloud Applications, including HCM, ERP, and CX.

- Customize business rules, workflows, validations, and automation processes using Groovy.

- Implement dynamic field modifications, calculations, and data validations within Oracle Cloud.

Integration & Performance Optimization :

- Integrate Groovy scripts with Oracle Cloud configurations, BI Reports, and REST/SOAP APIs.

- Optimize script performance, error handling, and debugging for scalability and efficiency.

- Work with Oracle Process Cloud, Integration Cloud (OIC), and OTBI/BI Publisher for reporting and automation.

System Enhancements & Troubleshooting :

- Analyze system requirements and translate business needs into efficient Groovy script solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Groovy scripting errors, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues.

- Ensure compliance with Oracle Cloud best practices, security policies, and governance standards.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing materials.

- Provide training, guidance, and support to Oracle Cloud users on Groovy scripting Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-10 years of experience in Oracle Cloud applications with strong expertise in Groovy scripting.

- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Applications (HCM, ERP, CX) and Oracle Application Composer.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud configurations, security policies, and customization frameworks.

- Experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP API integrations.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills for Groovy scripts.

- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Oracle Cloud Certification (HCM/ERP/CX).

- Experience with Oracle Visual Builder, BPM, or JavaScript-based customizations.

- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud release updates and Groovy script changes.
