Job Description :

- Data Engineering Analyst Data Acquisition Team. Experience: 3-5yrs. Location: Remote.

Responsibilities :

- Identify and evaluate potential data sources, both internal and external.

- Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to acquire data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, flat files, etc.).

- Design and maintain data pipelines for efficient and reliable data ingestion.

- Automate data acquisition processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

- Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

- Implement data validation rules and processes to identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Monitor data pipelines for errors and performance issues, and implement corrective actions.

- Document data quality metrics and reports.

- Transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and reporting.

- Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements.

- Implement data cleansing and standardization processes.

- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data storage and retrieval.

- Maintain documentation of data sources, data pipelines, and data transformations.

- Monitor data source availability and performance.

- Work with data providers to resolve data issues and ensure data delivery.

- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

- Communicate data acquisition status and issues to stakeholders. -

- Document technical specifications and procedures.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related role.

- Strong understanding of data acquisition and ETL processes.

- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

- Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for data processing and automation.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with API consumption.

Technical Skills :

- SQL (required)

- ETL tools (Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica)

- Scripting languages (Python, Bash)

- Data modeling

- Data quality management

- Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (desired)

- API consumption.
