About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced ITOM Support Specialist with 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).

The role involves implementing, administering, configuring, and supporting the ServiceNow tool, focusing on ITOM processes such as Event Management, CMDB, and Discovery.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Support the implementation, administration, configuration, and development of the ServiceNow ITOM module.

- Perform ServiceNow scripting, tool configuration, and technical deployment.

- Work with Glide system APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Scripts.

- Configure and troubleshoot Discovery and MID Server setup.

- Manage Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, JSON).

- Oversee ITOM processes, including Event Management, CMDB, and Discovery.

- Handle ITOM integrations with tools like Puppet, OEM, OCI, SolarWinds, SCCM, DBM, OpenNMS, and Cisco Prime.

- Resolve connection failures, processing alert delays, alert correlation issues, and overall ITOM system performance.

- Work on data imports, Data Sources, and Transform Maps, including loading data from JDBC and Web Services.

- Ensure ServiceNow best practices are followed in design, development, and support activities.

- Provide troubleshooting support and act as a consultative expert to stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications Required :

- 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM implementation, administration, and support.

- Expertise in ServiceNow scripting, configuration, and technical deployment.

- Strong knowledge of CMDB and Discovery with experience in troubleshooting MID Server issues.

- Hands-on experience in Web Services integration (SOAP, REST, JSON).

- Expertise in ITOM integrations (Puppet, OEM, OCI, SolarWinds, SCCM, DBM, OpenNMS, Cisco Prime).

- Experience in data imports, Data Sources, and Transform Maps.

- CIS-ITOM Discovery Certification (Mandatory).

- ITIL Certification / ServiceNow Admin / Implementation / Development Certification (Preferred).

- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

- Service Mapping expertise and CSDM 4.0 knowledge (Preferred)
