Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:- Review incoming inspection documents for Hub and Nacelle components as per approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
- Conduct in-process inspections and document reviews of Hubs and Nacelles.
- Witness Factory Routine Testing and review documentation for Hub and Nacelle.
- Monitor quality control processes: IQC, IPQC, equipment calibration, data and records.
- Perform final inspection and document review of Hub and Nacelle as per QAP.
- Witness final factory testing and review documentation for WTG components.
- Coordinate with suppliers to close inspection-related observations.
- Monitor daily raw material availability, manufacturing status, and process control.
- Verify manufacturer quality records/log sheets for compliance with QPs, GTPs, and drawings.
- Conduct factory inspections of equipment/material against customer-approved documentation.
- Perform supplier quality inspections for power substations, transmission lines, solar power projects, and renewable energy plants.
- Expedite and inspect blade balancing, and perform final inspection of Nacelle and Hub.
- Make pass/fail decisions on material/equipment during factory inspections.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering/Technology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Inspections.
- Strong knowledge of wind power, wind projects, and renewable energy systems.
Candidate Profile:
To succeed in this role, you will require strong technical knowledge of wind power, wind projects, and renewable energy systems. You must be proficient in reviewing and analyzing complex data sets and identifying areas of non-compliance. In addition, excellent communication and coordination skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
