Experience: 3–4 years | Qualification: Textile Design graduate from NID

Loomlife is building an Indian craft luxury house rooted in handloom, artisan expertise, and textile innovation. We are looking for a Textile Design graduate from the National Institute of Design (NID) with strong, hands-on experience in textile development and design to join our Noida office.

Key responsibilities

  • \n
  • Develop original textiles and collections, from research and concepts through sampling and production readiness.\ N
  • Work extensively on yarn selection, fabric construction, weave structures, textures, colours, and finishes.\ N
  • Develop motifs, prints,embroidery layouts, and coordinated colour palettes.\ N
  • Collaborate directly with weavers, artisans, and craft clusters to translate designs into high-quality textiles.\ N
  • Prepare clear technicalbriefs, review samples, resolve development issues, and maintain quality standards.\ N
  • Coordinate development timelines and document specifications, samples, and approvals.\ N

What we’relooking for

  • A degree in Textile Design from NID.\ N
  • 3–4 years of substantial practical experience in textile design and development, with a portfolio demonstrating work from concept to finished fabric.\ N
  • Strong understanding ofhandloom textiles, natural fibres, weaving, dyeing, printing, and surface techniques.\ N
  • Experience working withartisan clusters and translating traditional techniques into contemporary products.\ N
  • Attention to detail, ownership of execution, and willingness to travel to craft clusters.\ N
  • Ability to work full-time from our Noida office.\ N
