About the Job – SAP Business Data Migration Lead Job Description:
  • Strong hands-on development in SAP Data Migration resource with 8+ years of experience in any ETL Tools with SAP Data Migration.
  • ETL design and implementation involving extraction and provisioning of data from legacy systems.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficient in ETL solution Architecture, design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting using ETL Tools (BODS//SDI/SYNITI/CRANSOFT).
  • Demonstrable background in Data Modeling and Data architecture skills using ETL tools.
  • Closely work with the business team to understand the business requirements, review the functional specs, develop technical specs, build the applications, unit test the application and support the process team during integration testing.
  • Having migration Experience in various SAP areas specifically Controlling, FI, MM, EWM, PP, PS, QM, PM and SD.
  • Experience in LTMC, LSMW, Customizing Ltmc, BDC, IDOC and BAPI program for migrating to S4 Hana.
  • Provide estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Abap, DMi JIVS and customisations.
  • Well versed with ETL best practices using Databases and using the in- depth knowledge to solve reasonably complex problems.
  • Responsible for creating mapping and transformation specifications based on the business requirements from various business teams and implement in Data Integrator jobs.
  • Creating Jobs in Data Integrator to pull data from the legacy systems.
  • Writing SQL Statements in DI scripts to modify data. Created initial and delta loads.
  • Used various sources like Databases, Applications, flat files, excel files or CSV files.
  • Expertise to handle data provisioning and error handling from sources systems.
  • Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
  • Quality understanding of Project Life Cycle and worked on activate, ASAP, waterfall methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in ETL process - transformations, sourcing, mapping, conversion and loading.
  • Working Experience of several cross functional teams, handling them from front.
  • Good Knowledge of methodologies & concepts of Data warehousing and predefined data models.
  • Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) to meet all SLA's.
  • Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
