Position Overview

We are hiring a Part Time Remote Azure Security Trainer to mentor and train an internal team member over a 3 month period. The goal is to prepare the team member to confidently manage and secure a new Azure tenant for an upcoming client project scheduled to go live in 3 months.

The trainer will provide hands-on, practical training, focused on real-time configurations, security architecture, and audit readiness.

NOTE:


• This is a PART-TIME (3hrs a Day Commitment) role


• Pqxel does not outsource any work to contractors, so please do not apply if you are currently working on multiple other projects.

Responsibilities:

·       Deliver a structured 3 month training plan (2 to 3 hours per day)

·       Mentor one internal team member in:

·       Azure RBAC, Conditional Access, PIM

·       Microsoft Defender (Cloud, Identity, Endpoint, Office 365)

·       Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM, SOAR, KQL)

·       Azure Policy, Security Center, Secure Score

·       Guide real-time setup and configuration in a new Azure tenant

·       Align learning objectives with AZ-500 and SC-100 certifications

·       Create practical documentation (SOPs, quick guides, cheat sheets)

·       Answer on-the-job questions related to Azure security practices

·       Support in planning for audit readiness and Secure Score improvement

Qualifications & Experience:

·       5+ years of hands-on Azure Security experience

·       Proven experience with:

·       Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure AD Security features

·       PowerShell, ARM Templates, JSON, KQL, Logic Apps

·       Prior experience delivering live mentoring or on-the-job training

Preferred Certifications (At least 2 strongly preferred):

·       AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate

·       SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (strongly preferred)

·       SC-200: Security Operations Analyst Associate (preferred for Sentinel)

·       SC-300: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (preferred for Conditional Access)

Additional Requirements:

·       Remote work only

·       Must be available during Canadian business hours (late night or early morning India time)

·       Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Location: India

Work Hours:

·       Part Time, 2 to 3 hours per day

·       Contract Duration: 3 Months

Compensation:

·      ₹20,000 INR per month
