Job responsibilities:-The Dean of Pharmacy holds a senior leadership role in the Department of Pharmacy, overseeing academic, administrative, and strategic functions. Here are some key responsibilities:1. Academic Leadership :Overseeing curriculum development and ensuring it aligns with current trends in pharmacy practice and research.Ensuring that faculty members are delivering high-quality education and mentoring students effectively.2. Faculty and Staff Management :Managing staff and ensuring that faculty members have the resources and support they need for teaching and research.Promoting professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.3. Research Oversight :Encouraging and facilitating research activities in the field of pharmacy, both in terms of clinical practice and pharmaceutical sciences.Managing research funding and promoting partnerships with industry, governmental agencies, and academic institutions.4. Student Affairs :Overseeing student support services, and career development programs.Ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education, including both classroom and practical experience (e.g., internships and rotations).Addressing student concerns and maintaining a positive academic environment.
