As we traverse the journey from $5M to $50M in ARR over the next couple of years, we want to ensure the highest level of financial rigour from the early days to lay a strong foundation for growth over the years. Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about numbers? We're looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.What you’ll doMaintain accurate financial records and handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.Support internal audits and reviews of financial data.Manage fixed assets and maintain depreciation schedules.Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.Take on other accounting-related tasks as needed by the finance team.What makes you a good fitBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books (or similar tools) is a plus.Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Salary and LocationLocation: BangaloreExpected CTC: We pay top of market for the right folks and also offer generous equity (ESOP) to everyone in the teamOur Way Of Life - https://www.Notion.So/bitespeed/Way-Of-Life-At-BiteSpeed-44d9b9614d9641419da910189b1e9f8e.Our PurposeAt BiteSpeed, work is personal.
