We are committed to shaping a safer and smarter future through AI.Role DescriptionAI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision, SLM/LLM Models📍 Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (On-site only)🕒 Experience: 4 – 5 years🏢 Work Mode: On-site (No remote/hybrid option)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, and hands-on experience working with SLM/LLM (Small & Large Language Models).The ideal candidate will contribute to building advanced, intelligent vision systems integrating both Vision AI and Generative AI/LLM capabilities.You will work on cutting-edge applications such as Facial Recognition, Video Analytics, Traffic Intelligence, and Vision-Language AI features.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, train, and deploy AI/ML models for real-time computer vision applications.Build and optimize algorithms for:Facial recognitionObject detection & trackingPeople countingActivity recognitionVideo analytics pipelinesImplement and fine-tune SLMs/LLMs, including:Vision-language systemsPrompt engineeringEmbedding-based retrievalModel integration into product workflowsDevelop Python-based production AI modules using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.Perform data preprocessing, feature extraction, and model evaluation.Collaborate closely with software & product teams to integrate AI modules into live systems.Research state-of-the-art advancements in Vision AI, Generative AI, Transformer models, and multimodal AI.Optimize models for edge devices and server deployments.Required Skills & ExpertiseCore Technical Skills4–5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering.Strong expertise in Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition.Advanced programming skills in Python and libraries: OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn.Proficiency in Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, Autoencoders, Transformers).SLM/LLM ExpertisePractical experience with Small Language Models (SLMs) and Large Language Models (LLMs).Hands-on with:LLaMA, GPT, Mistral, Gemma, Claude, or similar modelsVision-Language or Multimodal models (e.g., CLIP, BLIP, SAM, OpenAI Vision models)Fine-tuning, LoRA, prompt engineeringBuilding retrieval-augmented systemsUnderstanding of embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases is a plus.Analytical & ML SkillsStrong foundation in Statistics, Data Analysis, and predictive modeling.Experience building and integrating real-time inference pipelines.Additional SkillsStrong software engineering fundamentals.Ability to write clean, modular, production-grade code.Experience with Docker, REST APIs, or microservices is an added benefit.Eligibility RequirementsMust be located within commutable distance to Chennai (Tamil Nadu).Strictly no remote or hybrid options.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:Computer ScienceArtificial IntelligenceData ScienceMachine LearningOr equivalent technical disciplinePreferred ExperienceVision-based AI solutions for Facial Recognition, Video Analytics, Surveillance, or Traffic Intelligence.Exposure to edge AI, GPU-based acceleration, and model optimization.Experience integrating LLMs/SLMs into real-world applications.What We OfferOpportunity to work on next-generation Vision + LLM Intelligent SystemsA fast-paced, innovation-driven engineering environmentCompetitive compensation and growth opportunitiesJoining: IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENTHow to ApplySend your updated resume to: sadiq@miradortechnologie.aiSubject Line: Application for AI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision & LLM/SLM
