Manager - Electrical (Renewables Energy)Job Location: GurgaonPosition Overview:As a Dy Manager / Manager- Electrical, you will be working in Renewable Energy (Solar/Wind) Power Projects under the project manager for the initial few periods prior to work independently as the project manager.Primary Responsibility:Must have good knowledge of solar power plant designing concepts i.e DC side as well as AC sideMust be able to provide support in pre bid engineering, Owners Engineering (Review of Design Documents) and Detailed engineering design.Must have knowledge and experience in developing General Arrangement Layout of PV Plant, cable routing, earthing, Lightning protection, lighting, Main Control Room, Inverter Station etc.Must have experience and knowledge in all electrical calculation and studies i.e. cable sizing, earthing, battery sizing etc.Knowledge and experience in Electrical system studies Short circuit, Load flow, relay setting and coordination etc. is preferableMust have knowledge of all relevant standards and guidelines i.e. IS, IEC, IEEE, International Guidelines, Guidelines issued by CEA, CERC, MNRE etc.Experience in independently preparing Techno-commercial feasibility study, Detailed Project Report, Resource assessment and Energy Yield Assessment for Solar PV projectsExperience to carry out energy yield for solar plants independently using simulation software such as PV SYST, SAM, etc will be an added advantageExperience of working in wind power projects and basic knowledge of storage concepts will be an added advantage.Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, power point presentation Creating documents, writing reports according to specificationsCapable to conduct research and traveling to sites.Time management and professionalism.A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticismOther Requirements & Expectations: You will work on various National and International projects requiring technical skills in the following areas:Solar / Wind/ Hybrid/ Storage ProjectsBasic Engineering/ Detailed Engineering/ Owner’s Engineering / Lender’s EngineeringYour Profile:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering - Essential.Master’s Degree in Energy Studies/Energy System Engineering/ Renewable Energy/ Solar Energy - Preferable5-10 years of experience in the renewable industry, preferably in consulting, in the above areas.Special Attributes:Good communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsGood Leadership skills to lead a group of engineersSelf-disciplined and demonstrated capability to work in multiple projects as a team member/Project Manager.Our Offer:An interesting and varied job in an international environment.A stable work environment where professional growth and development are stimulated.A decent compensation package.A permanent employment to ensure the roles offered are in accordance with your skills, interests, and career goals.Tractebel welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, and actively promotes Diversity in the workforce.
