Position Overview: We seek an experienced and visionary Principal to lead our school with integrity, passion, and commitment. The Principal will oversee all aspects of school operations, drive academic excellence, and ensure a thriving school community. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who strongly focuses on student outcomes, faculty development, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's and or Master's degree in education from a reputed college or university is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience in the role of Principal or

Vice Principal in a reputed CBSE school.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Ensure that all staff have access to ongoing guidance and that training and development plans are tailored to meet the specific needs of the school and the individual stages of each staff member's professional growth.
  • Ensure all staff are valued as individuals and receive courtesy and respect.
  • Lead, motivate, encourage, support, monitor, and evaluate to ensure continuous school improvement.

Academics and Faculty Management:

  • Uphold the academic and ethical standards of the school.
  • Assign, supervise, and evaluate the duties performed by the school leadership team, school administration staff, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Conduct Teacher/Coordinator observations and provide constructive feedback, ensuring observations by Coordinators/VP are done as per schedule.

Student Development:

  • Plan and oversee student activities and extracurricular opportunities in conjunction with the co-curricular coordinator.
  • Administer the school's discipline policies and standards of conduct.
  • Supervise the school's support systems, such as counseling, academic support, before- and after-school programs, health, and wellness.
  • Optimize, plan, and implement all school gatherings, including assemblies, annual days, showcases, orientations, sporting events, performances, and other such events.

Parents and Community:

  • Manage PTM and other parent engagement activities and handle parent concerns and feedback effectively.
  • Oversee the school's relations with its alumni, including developing and maintaining the alumni database, communications programs, and special events.

Admissions, Finance, Operations, and Others:

  • Supervise and assist the admissions functions of the school, including internal marketing, external outreach, website development and maintenance, information dissemination, and applicant testing and interviewing.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the buildings, grounds, and all school operations, including vehicles, grounds, etc., with the Operations team.
  • Spearhead the affiliation process and coordinate with the board on examination and other procedures.
  • Ensure timely compliance, coordination, and correspondence with the CBSE board and Government authorities.
