The Senior Associate - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to support audits and management reporting while ensuring timely closure of accounts and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping & Accounting

  • Record journal entries and ensure monthly closure of accounts.

2. Invoicing & Payments

  • Prepare and issue invoices; follow up on collections.
  • Process vendor payments and manage payables as per agreed terms.

3. Reconciliations

  • Perform ledger reconciliations (banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable).
  • Conduct monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation and coordinate with vendors for pending filings.
  • Perform quarterly reconciliation of Form 26AS.

4. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).

5. MIS Reporting

  • Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management.

6. Audit Support

  • Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries, and provide required documentation.

7. Regulatory Knowledge

  • Maintain a strong understanding of provisions of the Income Tax Act and Companies Act applicable to companies.

8. Software Proficiency

  • Work effectively on Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.

9. Other Duties

  • Handle additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
