Job Purpose: To efficiently and effectively manage the Environment Management System and Sustainability Initiatives in Paint Manufacturing unit and to drive continuous improvement in line with the established policy of Asian PaintsBusiness Responsibility Areas:Manage the Effluent Treatment Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant & water treatment plants like Softener Plant, RO-MEE, DI plant.Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste management and associated facilitiesCompliance to all identified Legal requirements pertaining to EnvironmentCompliance to Environment Management System and ISO14001.Define, Design & Manage for effective achievement of Environment Management Plans & Sustainability targetsDefine, Design & Execution of CSR projects pertaining to Water Conservation & help achieve water neutrality for theorganization.Management of waste movement and Scrap Sale processFinancial expenditures - Design & timely execution of all environment capital expenditures & managing revenue expenditures w.r.t environmentLiaising with statutory authorities Management of environment team in an effective mannerDevelop and assign plans for Continuous Improvement in Environment Management SystemKey Performance Indicators:Timely renewal of all applicable consents and submission of all applicable statutory forms/returns and compliance to the same on a day-to-day basisCompliance to all identified legal requirements in the EMS manualIdentify and establish processes in EMS to ensure complete adherence to new environment legislationCompliance to EMS manual and system improvement via self-assessmentTargets on Zero Effluent Generation, Zero Solid Waste Generation, Specific Water Consumption etc.Work Experience:10 Years of relevant experienceMandatory Telugu language proficient
