We are hiring an Analytics and Automation Specialist to join our Continuous Improvement (CI) team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data analytics and automation techniques to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence across our organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing low-code and no-code Business Apps to continuously make the business more efficient, by assessing processes to recommend and implement solutions built with tools such as Tableau, Smartsheet, Power Apps and Power Automate. Additionally, this individual will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. This person should be committed to transforming data into relevant, readable reports that drive innovation and growth. To succeed in this role, you should have a demonstrated analytical mindset, be detail oriented, and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. This role will focus on processes that span multiple business functions across Gaming Operations.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with business partners within the group to determine analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, to define what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis.
  • Develop and deliver enterprise Business Apps with minimal traditional coding involved.
  • Develop and test applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Analyze and resolve application or system problems.
  • Network with project management and client stakeholders across your functional group.
  • Perform tasks and duties related to ad hoc report analysis, design, and processing.
  • Communicate issues, risks, and concerns proactively to management.
  • Provide support and mentor less experienced resources in the delivery of Business Apps and processes.
  • Project Management
    • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
    • Manage competing priorities.
    • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, mathematics, statistics, technology, or another related field. Other relevant career experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role across any industry (preferably in a gaming or manufacturing industry).
  • Proven analytical skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
  • At least three years of working knowledge in the Microsoft Power Platform stack, with a minimum of 1 year of working experience with low code tools, working with the Dataverse.
  • Aptitude for learning other analytics tools, with strong SQL or Excel skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 products and the ecosystem.
  • Relevant Microsoft Professional Certifications, such as the PL-900, are strongly encouraged but not required.
  • Comfort with integrating all aspects of Power Platform, including the collaboration between Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of modern development practices (Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration/Deployment).
  • Ability to function with short turn-around deadlines with minimal supervision and under potentially stressful situations.
