Field Service Support

Provide technical service, installation, operation, training, demonstration, and repair of GCMS, GC analyzers, GC equipment and HPLC to Thermo Fisher customers. Demonstrate excellent technical proficiency in the Gas Chromatography product line. Install products at client premises and demonstrate features related to 21 CFR compliance under the CDS software. Deliver training and technical advice on instrument use, ensuring optimum performance. Investigate difficulties, tackle faults, and provide solutions or arrange for repairs. Act as a communication link between customers and Sales and Marketing teams. Monitor repairs, suggest product improvements, and provide regular customer visits. Assist with spare parts requirement monitoring and equipment maintenance. Achieve assigned spares and service revenue targets by promoting contracts, PM kits, instrument upgrades, and software upgrades. Travel extensively within the territory and potentially outside territory if required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Qualifications

Bachelor of Technology (Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical) degree or equivalent experience. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills suitable for a role that involves interacting with others. Ability to prioritize service requests and produce clear documentation. Self-motivated and proactive in technical and support approach. Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs.
