Role Description This is a full-time on-site Multimedia Designer role based in Zirakpur-Mohali. We are looking for a versatile and talented Multimedia Designer with 1-2 years of professional experience (not more) in creating engaging and visually appealing content across multiple digital formats. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve (at least one tool for each function). This role is ideal for a creative professional who can conceptualise, design, and produce multimedia assets for marketing campaigns, social media, product promotions, and brand storytelling. Qualifications A portfolio showcasing a mix of design, video, and motion graphics work is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or related field 1-2 years of experience in multimedia design, including exposure to graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and respond constructively to feedback. Eagerness to learn new creative tools, techniques, and design trends. Key Responsibilities - Graphic Design: - Design creative social media posts, digital ads, web banners, and campaign visuals aligned with brand identity. - Prepare graphics and layouts for promotional and marketing use, ensuring high aesthetic quality and brand consistency. - Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to bring ideas to life visually. - Video Editing: - Edit raw video footage into compelling visual content for digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.). - Add transitions, sound design, text overlays, and basic color correction to enhance storytelling impact. - Ensure videos are optimized for various formats and resolutions. - Motion Graphics: - Create motion-based graphics, intros, lower-thirds, logo animations, and simple 2D explainer animations. - Combine visuals, audio, and motion elements to deliver dynamic digital content. - Stay current with modern animation trends and digital storytelling techniques. - Collaboration & Execution: - Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize multimedia campaigns. - Manage multiple design and video projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines. - Adapt designs and edits as per feedback from creative leads or marketing managers. Required Skills and Competencies - Design Tools: - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent software) for graphic creation. - Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for video editing. - Knowledge of Adobe After Effects (or equivalent software) for motion graphics and animation. - Creative Skills: - Strong eye for color, typography, and layout design. - Ability to conceptualize creative ideas and translate them into engaging visuals. - Understanding of storytelling, visual rhythm, and pacing for video content. Technical Knowledge: - Familiarity with different video formats, aspect ratios, codecs, and rendering standards. - Understanding of design requirements for social media and digital advertising platforms. - Ability to create content optimized for web and mobile viewing.
