We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team as we develop and manage WordPress-based projects. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a group of talented WordPress developers and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality websites and solutions. Your role will involve managing the team, coordinating projects, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of WordPress developers, providing direction, guidance, and support.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and mentor team members for growth and development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and create project plans.
  • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring tasks are assigned based on team members' skills and availability.
  • Develop project timelines and milestones, and track progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
Technical Expertise:
  • Possess a deep understanding of WordPress development and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with problem-solving and code reviews.
  • Ensure the team follows coding standards, security practices, and optimization techniques.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and testing to deliver high-quality, bug-free WordPress projects.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with clients, product managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements and clarify project objectives.
  • Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges effectively to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and promote best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or similar role in WordPress development.
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, customization, and optimization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Basic PHP
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
