Kshema General Insurance Limited (Kshema) is India's only Digital Agri Insurance Company. Established in 2018, it caters to farmers/cultivators in the Agriculture Sector.

Kshema provides localized insurance products enabling cultivators with resilience from financial distress due to extreme climate events and perils through technology.

With a pan-India presence, Kshema employs more than 500 employees on roles along with 500+ contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage at least 15 years of relevant experience, including 9 years in Field Risk Management.
  • Understand organizational systems, processes, and products.
  • Detect and prevent field risks in the Agri insurance domain.
  • Stay updated on regulatory knowledge, including field risk detection and investigation processes.
  • Analyze data using analytical skills and knowledge of Data Analytics.
  • Monitor policies and areas vulnerable to anti-selection, including prevention, detection, inspection, and investigation.
  • Create and maintain a Field Risk Framework for internal and external field risks.
  • Undertake data mining to identify statistical samples of claims and policies for quality assurance activities and investigate anomalous claims payments.
  • Detect suspicious cases at new business login, post-issuance, and claim stages.
  • Conduct on-site inspections based on anomalous patterns.
  • Assure portfolio quality through data analytics for adverse selection.
  • Monitor and control field inspection agency work.
  • Develop and publish regular Management Information System reports on activities like investigation TAT, risk trends.
  • Provide training to employees, advisors, and channel partners on field risk management.

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • A degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry or Management/Statistics.
  • MBA in Rural Management/Agri Business.
