Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience5+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Developer or in similar software engineering rolesAdvanced skills in Python; strong SQL and cloud-native development experience (AWS)Proven expertise in architecting scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) OR experience working with extensive data pipelinesAdvanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)Skilled with Docker and AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, ECR, ECS, AWS Batch)Experience building, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs and data workflows, including working with JSONExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to independently onboard/train new engineers and contribute to knowledge basesStrong background in code reviews, monitoring system performance/stability, and proactively refining solutionsSelf-motivation and reliability in remote work settings, including effective time management with distributed teamsHighly Desired SkillsFront-end development experience or familiarity with Vue.Js (nice to have but not critical)Prior experience in architecting scalable infrastructureAgile software development knowledge (Scrum, Kanban)Previous open-source contributionsHistory of quickly adopting and advocating best practices in software developmentProven effectiveness in collaborating with geographically dispersed (remote) teamsAbility to overlap work hours with US-based engineers and operate independently as the sole India-based team member
