Job Summary:

We are looking to deploy WAN Support Engineer for a critical engagement. The role demands strong network troubleshooting capabilities, hands-on experience in BGP, and a proven background in WAN operations preferably from a Telecom or ISP environment. The candidate must be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night hours, and should be prepared for 2–3 levels of client interaction during the selection process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and support WAN networks across global sites in a 24/7 rotational shift model.
  • Handle L2 escalations and troubleshoot incidents related to routing, switching, and WAN link issues.
  • Configure and maintain BGP routing and manage changes, updates, and problem resolutions.
  • Collaborate with telecom vendors and ISPs for link provisioning, troubleshooting, and escalations.
  • Maintain documentation for shift handovers, ticket logs, and RCA reports.
  • Ensure high network uptime and adherence to SLA targets.
Good-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
  • Experience with MPLS, OSPF, QoS.
  • Exposure to enterprise monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
  • Ability to create and update network diagrams and SOPs.

Experience Required: 5 to 7 Years

Work Model: 24/7 Rotational Shifts (Including Night Shifts)

Certification Required:CCNA

Preferred Industry: Telecom / ISP / Global NOC Support

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days (Preferred)
