Commscope is lookingout for an Engineer Process to join our BaseStation Antenna team in Goa This resource Undergeneral supervision, is responsible for developing, implementing,and coordinating method and process production to maximize outputof established priorities.

 

How You'll Help UsConnect theWorld:

Develop andimplement method and process production to improve time, equipmentand people in all productionprocess.

Develop alternativesand studies to modify equipment and introducing new methods toreduce productioncost.

Research tools andequipment used in production process to enhance people, time andmachines productionprocess.

Responsible formanaging product yield. Responsible for new product trials andrelateddocumentation.

Managing andmaintaining clear and accurate documentation equipment /processes.

Elaborate actionsplan to prevent non-conformity productsituation.

Troubleshootingproduct / equipment / Machine when errors occur. Also Works inclose co-ordination with works coordinators and OperationsSupervisors to ensure Establishment of work priorities /schedules.

Working onimprovement projects related to automation, efficiency improvement,yieldimprovement.

Management of aproject team and training staff on implemented equipment /processes or on any changes to existingones.

Will help Analyzingand addressing production defects with QualityRepresentatives

Works on problems ofdiverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires areview of identifiable factors.

Exercises' judgmentwithin generally defined practices and policies in selectingmethods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Will be required toparticipate in activities that require frequent time spent on themanufacturing floor and occasionally workingoutdoors.

 

Types ofDecisions:
  • Deviations from established departmental schedulesasneeded.
  • Qualitydecisions
  • Work assignment decisions based upon productionplan.
  • Make judgment call over consumable usage and controlcost.

RequiredQualifications forConsideration:

Bachelors inEngineering with 8 + years of work experience in a medium volume/mix electro-mechanical manufacturing or production environmentwith an emphasis on manufacturing processes.

Experience withproducttroubleshooting

Sig sigmabackground

RFbackground
