Dy Manager / Manager- Mfg Engg -Sheet Metal – Press & Fabrication

For a leading group in auto components manufacturing.

Location: Ranjan Gaon (Pune)

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute green field or brown field projects.
  • Select, plan, and implement capital equipment.
  • Plan capacity and layout for new programs.
  • Install capital equipment.
  • Optimize assets for new programs.
  • Prepare guidelines for equipment selection and procurement.
  • Define standard operating procedures.
Major Tasks:
  • Expand robotic welding facilities.
  • Enhance heavy press shop capacity.
  • Expand shop floor area.
Key Skills:
  • Conduct cycle time studies to improve productivity through line balancing.
  • Optimize cycle times.
  • Improve layout efficiency.
  • Create process guidelines.
  • Implement kaizens and SMED techniques.
  • Train workmen.

Education: Graduate Engineer - Mechanical/Industrial Engineer Preferred

Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering functions of automotive companies.

IT Exposure: SAP, Autocad, MS Office
