Job Opportunity: BIM SPECIALIST (Structural Engineer)Location: OMR, Chennai, IndiaMofra Design & Engineering Pvt Ltd , We are an Italian engineering firm with a branch office in Chennai, India, specializing in structural engineering and architectural design. Our work involves projects in both Italy and India, focusing on the renovation of existing buildings and the design of new residential structures.We are looking for a BIM SPECIALIST to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for a structural engineer, even with minimal experience, who is eager to learn and grow with us.Key Responsibilities:Create, manage, and update 3D BIM models for structural components throughout all project phases.Coordinate BIM models across disciplines (architecture, MEP, civil) to ensure integration and clash-free designs.Support structural engineers in translating design concepts into accurate, constructible models and drawings.Prepare construction documentation including plans, sections, and details directly from BIM models.Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM deliverables.Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and workflows.Assist in the development and implementation of BIM execution plans and model progression specifications.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.BIM certification is mandatory.Experience:2+ years of experience in BIM modeling with a focus on structural engineering projects.Proven experience using Autodesk Revit for structural modeling.Skills:Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure), Navisworks, AutoCAD; knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, Tekla, or other modeling/scripting tools is a plus.Understanding of structural systems (steel, concrete, timber, etc.) and detailing standards.Knowledge of relevant codes and construction practices.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Expected Joining Date : ImmediatePlace of work : Perungudi, Omr, ChennaiWhy Join Us?Be part of an international team working on diverse and challenging projects.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in the field of structural engineering.Gain exposure to Italian and Indian markets, broadening your professional horizons.If you are passionate about structural engineering and are ready to embark on an exciting career journey, we’d love to hear from you👉 Apply now by sending your resume & portfolio to Mofraindia@gmail.com.
