• Develop detailed solid models and drawings (considering DFA, DFM, DFS etc.) by using Creo 8 for dispenser and fueling product platform.

• Select and specify materials to satisfy design intent while minimizing costs.

• Apply theoretical knowledge of design and mechanical engineering principles to solutions.

• Apply GD&T and Tolerance stack ups for designs and use FMEA's

• Performs Engineering Change management activities using windchill and SAP

• Validate product performance and safety factors using finite element analysis (FEA) for structural analysis. 

• Coordinating with Mfg/ Op's team for new product introduction and production line support for existing product line

• Leads engineering and CFT builds to validate designs.

• Leads/Represent team in various CFT discussions/ Project planning/ Kaizen and leadership discussions.

• Look for process improvement opportunities to minimise failures and repetitive work.

Total Experience in years: 15-20 Yrs
Graduation/ Degree: BE Mechanical 

Skills required (in detail):
Lead the execution of product design, validation, and certification of fuel station related products.
Evaluate system level requirements by brainstorming with Product Specialists, Product Managers, and other peers throughout the organization.
Support creation and implementation of process-driven design decisions (GPM, Operations, Sales, and Service support)
Engaging and leading cross-functionally consisting of quality engineers, sourcing, planning, buyers, manufacturing engineers and rest of operation teams to execute.
Presenting detailed design documents, validation reports, and drawings to peers, chief engineers and Leaders
Creating validation plans and work with test engineers (internal or external) to ensure product quality and reliability.
Provide technical expertise to certification agencies and notified bodies to obtain product certifications.
Design of components, subsystem & system level. 
Knowledge of Plastic Materials. Injection molding process. 
Knowledge of Sheet Metal components. Stamping and bending process 
Sound knowledge in engineering principles, theory, and practice. 
Hands on experience of design calculations for structural components. 
Knowledge of GD&T Tolerance Stack up 
Tool Design-Injection Molding & Press Tool Knowledge. 
Creo 3.0 (Solid and surface Modelling, drawing Detailing, Sheet Metal, Piping), Windchill and SAP
