Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager - Tax, the Associate Analyst US Tax will be responsible for the collection and organization of commercial real estate data, as part of our integrated team deliveries within our Intelligence as a Service solutions. As an associate analyst, you will be responsible for the collection and organization of commercial real estate and personal property data, as part of our integrated team deliveries within our Intelligence as a Service solutions. The role will afford the Associate Analyst-Tax opportunities to gain exposure to US tax, Commercial Real estate and personal property assessments, appeals, tax bills financial analysis as well as data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage periodic setup of work files including verifying and reviewing source data. Support in research and data analytics relative to commercial real estate. Prepares and present financial exhibits in support of analysis and appraisal of assets. Prepare accurate analysis of asset and market level real estate data. Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of internal data management systems. Accurately completing time sheets on a daily basis ensuring non-billable time and recoverable expenses are clearly outlined. Exposure of processing assessment and tax bill entry in OneSource is must.Key Qualifications:
0.6 -2.5 years related experience in OneSource Personal Property return Filing is must for this position. Individual needs to have good knowledge on personal property background, specifically Compliance return filing experience is an asset. Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and oral presentation. Exposure in research and treatment of Property Tax related documents from various sources. Sound knowledge and/or experience in Personal Property tax matters including assessment notices, appeal decisions and savings, and tax bills. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Etc.) Basic skills in creating financial models (i.e., Excel, Argus, etc.) Ability to understand and interpret a lease for modeling. Understanding of source data that consists of budgeting, actuals, rent roll, recoveries, etc.Ce que le Groupe Altus offre :
