Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in Hyderabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining records of financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Tasks include reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, auditing financial documents, and analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making. The Accountant will also be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial transactions and accounts management
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and maintaining financial records
  • Proficiency in tax preparation and understanding of compliance with current regulations
  • Excellent skills in reconciling bank statements and auditing financial documents
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data effectively
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounts in Tally and Excel
  • Prepare GST filings, journal entries
  • Purchase/sales entries, bank reconciliations, handle petty cash, support audits
  • File invoices, maintain ledgers, and assist in basic MIS reporting.
