Role Description This is a contract-based remote role for an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist. The AML Specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence processes, analyzing financial data to identify potential risks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and sanctions. Working closely with the compliance team, the specialist will communicate findings, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and collaborate on creating practices for safeguarding operations against money laundering activities. Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial data and identify anomaliesExcellent communication skills for reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience in finance and a thorough understanding of financial systems and practicesProficiency in due diligence and knowledge of compliance processes, including risk assessmentsFamiliarity with sanctions regulations and their application in a financial or blockchain environmentAttention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions under significant scrutinyPrior experience in blockchain, FinTech, or regulatory compliance is a plusBachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
